You can use it for plugin development, but unfortunately you cannot leverage new features (complex tooltips, etc.) because Lotus Expeditor is still on 3.2.x

I believe I heard that 3.3 support would be added this fall ... hence why there is no Max Notes 8 client for the 8.0.0 release. I expect we will see 3.3 support by Lotusphere

I want the Firefox everywhere support from 3.3 so I can use gecko instead of IE for rendering markup. It does depend on a local xulrunner install so I don't know if it will be included/supported...
